Hi there!

I’m a PhD researcher from university of Waikato. I’ve been living in Auckland for a couple of years but have recently split up with my partner so I’m looking to finally relocate to Hamilton (or nearby, within half an hour drive from university).

I’m a clean person (too much according to my ex), so I’d appreciate sharing a house with someone similar in that perspective. I don’t have much of a social life because I’m really focused on my PhD, so you might think me a bit dull, but I can be social if I have time/energy for it.

Now comes the tricky part… Accompanying me is a dog and a half. They are both well trained, well behaved and you won’t even know they are there. I have excellent references for them from lots of house owners, flat mates and even a motel where I stayed off and on for a couple of months during a project. They are used to sharing a home with other dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cows and sheep but pretty much hover around me most of the time. If you have pets, all the better, you get a free pet sitter if you want to go on a little holiday.

I’m looking for a room with an en-suite, preferably with garden acces. But I’m happy to talk about other options for the right home!
