Hi guys. My girlfriend (Grace) and I are looking for a room/flat for next year. We have been living together with 3 other flatmates for the past two years in Ilam. We both want to experience living with new people and think that while we’re at uni is the best time to do that. I’m studying chemistry/chemical engineering and Grace is studying mechanical engineering (both at UC). We’re both very capable young people who like the odd drink/party, but we tend to be studying at uni for a lot of each week. So, we don’t want to live in a ‘party’ flat, but we will happily get into flat activities/outings. We’re after either one large bedroom or two smaller ones, with a rent budget of up to around $130 each per week. We would like to live with students, but we are open to any reasonable arrangement. We will also require at least one carpark/on-street parking. We always pay rent and expenses promptly. Honestly, we’re easy-going flatmates looking for like-minded flatmates in a nice, clean flat.
