Trinity

Kia ora rā! Nei he uri nō ngā tukemata o Kahungunu e mihi atu ana :)

My name is Trinity, I descend from the lands of almighty Kahungunu. I’m 25, Māori, takatāpui (non-binary, queer), autistic and I love animals and tamariki. I’m passionate about rest and joy as radical forms of self-reclamation and collective healing, as well as documenting reclamations and protests and creating meaningful bodies of work that catalyse intergenerational healing among my people.

I work full time as a photographer and video editor in Ferrymead for a Māori design agency. I’m looking to move to Sumner to be closer to work and also to bouldering (rock climbing without the harness).

I’m double vaccinated and looking to be in a queer friendly flat with people who are also vaccinated as my immune system isn’t super strong from having glandular fever a couple of years ago.

I’ll potentially be a student again next year doing my Masters in Social Change and Indigenous Leadership at the University of Melbourne via correspondence if I get this fellowship I applied for (I find out in a couple of weeks).
