I have a room available in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property in the bush-clad suburb of Vogeltown (located between Brooklyn and Newtown).

We are about 20 minutes to town on the bus, or a 40 minute downhill walk through a fair amount of greenery.

The place is fully furnished apart from your room, and a significant amount of renovations means it’s easy street when it comes to liveability.

The room is a comfortable double with plenty of storage space (please see the photos). The whole interior has recently been painted and the carpet is new.

You will be living with the landlord who is in his 30s but that is a bonus as he is extra attentive when it comes to repairs. I am a lawyer by trade and am pretty active socially; I am pretty good value really!

Some of the features you will find include double glazing throughout, a new kitchen and new bathrooms, and a soon to be completed BBQ deck. We also have instantaneous gas hot water which is a godsend, and unlimited fibre internet.

You will also have the exclusive use of your own bathroom.

Expenses are $30pw which cover power, gas, unlimited fibre internet, rubbish bags, cleaning products and toilet paper.

The house is nestled in native bush so we are often visited by all the native birds on their flight path to Zealandia,

There is no off-street parking however there is plenty of parking on the street.

I am pretty flexible on the new flattie re: age and stage, but please be prepared for a tenant check through the myrent service. No pets or smokers.

I am a lawyer in my 30s with a busy work and social life and ready for plenty of banter.
