St Leonards Drive

Available, one bedroom in a house in St Leonards. The house has been recently renovated. The room available is the green room in photos.

It is only a 13 minute drive from the house to the octagon/ George Street and 10 minute drive to the university. There is a bus stop 150 metres from the house, a two minute walk and also the Harbour cycle/ walkway.

The one available room in the house is unfurnished and large enough for a Queen bed, chest of drawers, desk or shelf. The room can be left furnished with queen bed, side table, if need be.

The house has gas hot water. Modern kitchen/dining area with stovetop, oven, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Small front deck and large backyard. Lounge with views and ample afternoon sun.

$160pw for rent. Additional $30 per person for power, internet and gas. If this amount does not cover bills the remainder is shared between all flatmates. Bond is 2 weeks rent, and rent is to be paid 1 week in advance. Fixed term tenancy until 19th January 2021.

The current head tenant has an 8 month old Golden Retriever puppy so unfortunately no pets. They also have an ensuite so will just be sharing the main bathroom with two other flatmates. Would prefer a postgrad student or working professionals.

Our head tenant is a primary school teacher, who has a busy schedule so is not often home. We have a couple who are students in the sleepout, and another tenant who works in recreation and is often away due to her work. The housemates are independent, warm and friendly, and inclusive. Having friends over for dinner, or visiting is not a problem. Everyone pulls their weight and contributes to the house, it is always clean and tidy.
