About the room

Hi all, I’m looking for a late 20s - early 40s professional to share this cute house with (it’s just me + 2 cats). The house is newly renovated and is situated in a quiet cul de sac in Totara Vale. It has 3 brms, 1 bathroom with separate toilet and an external double garage. It’s insulated and has a heat pump too. It also has a wee little patio overlooking the fully fenced in backyard. Fully furnished, so all you need is your bedroom bits. With the Wairau onramp 5mins away, the commute to town is pretty painless, but if you prefer public transport, the Sunnynook Bus Depot is a 15min walk up the road. The location is so central to every suburb on the Shore, with anything you could possibly need, literally at your doorstep. Link Drive is down the road and Albany and Glenfield Malls are both just 10mins away. The room available is a double bedroom with a closet. Dimensions and layout are included in the photos. The third bedroom we can use as a guest bedroom or keep it as a WFH space. Bills additional. 50/50 split. Wi-fi, lawns, cleaner, power/water. Move in costs: $990 (3 weeks rental deposit) + $330 (1 week in advance) = $1320 *The landlord is amazing. Super on to it. Therefore, applicants will need to be vetted by her, so references etc will be required. No pets or smokers.

About the roomies

Just me! I’m a friendly, chill, female ambivert. I work full time as a creative in the advertising industry. I’ve got two cats- Bodhi and Bali. I’m a foodie (making/eating/hosting) and love friend hangs, arty fun things, and the very rare night out. Nights in are good times with a good crime doco or horror movie - OR, straight to the other side of the spectrum - a Disney or Pixar flick. (God this is sounding like a dating profile, but the more you know about me- the better informed your decision will be, right?).
