Colman Avenue

Come join our flat!

We are looking to fill 1 room in our flat on Colman Ave from the end of October. Rent Is $120 per week plus $15-20 weekly flat expenses (internet, utilities, communal flat things). The room can easily fit a double bed + some extra furniture and has a built-in wardrobe and shelving. Communal areas are furnished and the room can come with a queen bed if needed. There is also a study that can be made available to you if you require it.

The flat is about a 7 minute drive or 30 minute walk to UC, 8 minute drive to Westfield Riccarton, and both New World and Countdown within a couple of kms and walking distance. We are on a nice quiet street and directly opposite a park!

You will be joining two girls - Shani & Ellie, Rufus the resident doggo, and Nicholas who will be joining in a few months! We are a mix of students and young professionals with a variety of interests. We like to think of ourselves as a social bunch and would love to find a flatty who is happy to hang out, either on a weekend night out or a dusty Sunday walk! We are ideally looking for a male young professional who can be social and is down for some flat bonding and is also clean and responsible. Hey, I’m Ellie! I’m currently studying Criminal Justice at UC and will be going into my last year and I also work part-time. Rufus is my doggo and he hangs out with everyone in the flat and makes himself at home. I love to hang out with mates in the weekend whether it be out for a drink or an outdoor adventure. My boyfriend, Nicholas, will also be joining the flat in 2022.

Hi! I’m Shani. I work fulltime at Sport Canterbury and also studying towards my masters in Sport and Recreation management. I enjoy going to the gym, exploring outdoors, and winning beerpong.
