About the room

The Sanctuary is a sunny, spacious home on a large section (1000m²) in Mt Albert.

The main house has four bedrooms, which is home to one woman, two men, and a lovely ginger cat. Below the house is a granny flat which is home to two women, one man, and a black tuxedo cat. No more pets welcome.

In the main house, the bathroom is shared with just 2 people, and the spacious kitchen is shared with just 3.

Each of the bedrooms are named after birds native or endemic to Aotearoa.

The Kokako room with its large, east-facing window, will be available Monday 21st November.

$240 per week - bond $960 (four weeks rent)

Included is a free-standing wooden wardrobe & coat-hangers.

Expenses are are flat rate of $40pw per person. This covers unlimited fibre internet, reasonable power and water use, lawn and garden maintenance, and communal eco-supplies (tree-free toilet paper, ecostore hand-soap, dish-washing liquid & powder, laundry powder, rubbish bags, cleaning products, etc).

All living areas of the house are upstairs where the spacious, laid out open-plan captures sunshine and stunning views. The lounge has a wood burner & heat pump, and the kitchen/dining flows to the north facing balcony which has a motorised awning to provide shade or shelter. The house is plushly carpeted.

Plenty of street parking is available, and a park in the driveway could be available upon negotiation if absolutely necessary.
