We are a relaxed, community-minded, clothing-optional flat in the heart of Mt Albert, called The Sanctuary.

On a quarter-acre section with abundant gardens, huge trees, and lots of light and space, we greatly appreciate our privacy and sense of homeliness here.

We have a beautiful upstairs room available that overlooks the front garden and receives the morning sunlight.

Kokako room details: -$240 per week - bond $960 -Includes a freestanding wooden wardrobe with coat-hangers

Upstairs is primarily shared between the four flatties of the main four bedroom house, and we have a couple more flatties (the head tenant & maintenance man) living downstairs in a separate flat with their cat and two rescue dogs. No more pets please!

We are into fire-spinning, music, singing, dancing, cycling, reading, cooking, gardening, indoor plants, compost making, and playing games, between us.

Expenses are a flat rate of $50pw per person covering reasonable use of:

• unlimited fibre internet
• power & water
• toilet paper, toilet cleaner, & hand soap
• laundry powder
• white vinegar for cleaning
• dish-washing liquid & dish-washing powder

We are respectfully free from cigarettes and excessive alcohol or drug consumption.

About the house: All living areas of the house are upstairs where the beautifully laid out open plan captures sunshine and stunning views. The lounge includes a wood burner and the kitchen/dining flows effortlessly to the north facing balcony.

House & parking: One off street car park behind a locked gate may be available upon request. There is plenty of street parking. Garage is used as communal storage space. Balcony has a motorised awning to provide shade if wanted. Heat pump installed in lounge.

Location: House is on Kitenui Ave; close to bus stops, train stations and motorways.

In the area: ~15 min walk up the beautiful maunga, Ōwairaka/Mt Albert ~5 min. walk to New World supermarket, Rocket Park, YMCA gym, Thai massage, Mt Albert Aquatic Centre, Little French café, Parkside café, barber, dairy, fish & chips, kebabs, Z station ~10 min. walk to Baldwin Ave train station ~15 min. walk to Unitec, St Lukes mall and Mt Albert shops (cafés, takeaways, massage, etc)
