Wonderful old Victorian villa…rustic charm. Single room available, furnished. Bedding included. A lovely warm environment. The house seems to have a spirit of its own and the roomies here respect the space and the folks who live and visit here. Easy to get to buses…at Three Lamps and Jervois Road in Ponsonby or along Richmond Road in Grey Lynn. Behind our house is an open playing field - great for work outs.
At the moment the household includes the two of us very young at heart ‘oldies’ - retired teachers, originally from America (don’t worry - we won’t be ‘in your face’; we mainly stay in the ‘granny flat’ at the back of the house), and an English guy and a guy from Spain. Our extended family come to visit sometimes - from Raglan and Wellington and from overseas; can you guess which one is the surfer? If you are vaccinated and you are a non-smoker, get back to us on this cool website and we can set up a time to meet. The room would especially suit a student or a traveller on a working holiday visa. If a couple…or two singles (there is a loft in the room) the weekly would be $440. We do homestay/hostel sort of stays at a nightly charge of $65 (mininum 3 nights).
