Barton Terrace

Our beloved flatmates are off to Canada so an opportunity has arisen for a lucky soul (or souls) to join our flat family!

The room itself is located on the third floor of the three level townhouse. It’s super spacious with its own private deck and a small nook for a home office or your own private lounge! The room gets loads of sunlight with harbour views and the ranch door makes the room feel incredibly spacious. With loads space in the room and also direct access an attic off the stairwell you’ll have room for activities.

The house is brilliantly located - approximately 30 seconds from the Sprig and Fern Tavern and Goods (the best bakery in Welly). You are minutes from the Botanic Gardens and all Thorndon Village has to offer. It’s all the perks of suburban living with the convenience of being 10 minutes from town.

The two remaining flatmates are both young professionals working in the city. They both enjoy flat movie nights, are very chill but also enjoy the occasional beverage on the weekend. The flat have been doing shared cooking which has been great for freeing up time during the week. Rent is $350 for a single, or $380 for a couple and we have been paying $50 per week for expenses. This has included groceries for four dinners a week, however, if shared meals didn’t suit an incoming flatmate this would be reduced to $15 a week.
