About the room

We are looking to fill our large Master bedroom with either a single or couple, as the current flatmates have joined the property ladder and are moving out to their new home.

The Property: This is a large house, full lounge, home gym equipment, dining furniture, outdoor furniture, gas BBQ, 55-inch smart TV, dishwasher, 2 fridges, coffee machine, microwave, kitchen appliances, clothes washer & dryer. We have Ultrafast Unlimited Fibre.

The Room: The Master bedroom, located up the stairs, is a very large private space with a big walk-in wardrobe and an en suite. The current flatmates have been able to comfortably fit two work/gaming desks in the room, along with their queen bed and all their other necessities, with loads of room to spare!

The Ideal Flatmate For us, the ideal flatmate is someone who is a working professional and is independent and takes responsibility for their space, and the spaces they use. This means being proactive around the house. See the floor is dirty? Vacuum. See the kitchen could do with a wipe down? Clean it. Is the dishwasher clean? Empty it. We all have this mindset, and it means the house works and functions really well. Regardless of who’s responsibility it is, we all look after the house together.

We aren’t a party house, and there’s a strict no smoking or drugs rule.

Single: $320/w Couple: $350/w

Expenses are extra, these include gas, water, internet, and shared consumables.

There is one cat here, but she mostly keeps to herself or is with the owner in the bedroom.

About the roomies

Who you’ll be living with: The remaining 4 flatmates are all working professionals. The average age is 30. One couple, two single males. The house has always had a good mixture of great conversations and laughs, mixed with respect for each other’s personal space. We all enjoy living with each other and it’s a very cohesive living environment.
