About the room

We have a flatmate package becoming available in the near future. It includes the master bedroom, an ensuite/private bathroom, a study/office and one space in the internal garage. These rooms are unfurnished while the rest of the house is fully kitted out except you will have to provide a fridge as one is not big enough for three flatmates. Your rooms are on the third level with the master room having a ranch slider onto the sheltered deck and a large wardrobe with loads of shelves. You can literally lay in bed in the evenings in the warmer months and watch the sunset, or alternatively on your own deck sipping your favourite beverage. The office is very light and warm also with loads of wardrobe space. The bathroom is a shower over the bath, a toilet and sink. If you happen to have household stuff there is some storage spaces about the place.

The house and flatties- there are three of us (one is leaving) we all rent in one large three level, 6 bedroom, three bathroom, double garage house, and each have two bedrooms and one personal bathroom each. The house is on a hill in Ellerslie northwest facing, is deliciously sunny (when the sun is out) and lots of natural light. The main living areas are high stud ceilings and ranch sliders from floor to ceiling out to the main deck. The upstairs also has a very sheltered deck. The kitchen, lounge, two bedrooms and one bathroom is on the second level and downstairs there is the laundry, garage and one totally independant flat occupied by one lady who does not have access to the rest of the house, we never see her. This house has sweeping views outlooking One Tree Hill, so we get magnificient sunsets. There is a heatpump in the main lounge. All utilities, wifi, gas cook top and hot water, power, water are an extra $30 per week. The motorway is a few minutes away, the village is a few minutes walk away and there are plenty of supermarkets and shopping options. The train station is about 10 minutes walk from the door and there is a main bus route.

About the roomies

The head tenant in her late fifties, is in the fashion industry and also an artist working from home, loves music, drum n bass, EDM, blues, all sorts and has a GSOH. The male flatmate is 40, and will also be moving possibly around xmas, he works very long hours in telecoms and is here on a working contract from Australia, he is a lovely gentle, kind intelligent person.

Our ideal person is gainfully employed, is domesticated (knows how to contribute to the running of a household) is responsible, considerate, pays bills on time and definitely no alkies or smokers thanks. It would help if you have a sense of humour. Sorry, unfortunately the landlord has said no pets, unless you like goldfish.

To sum up, this house is beautifully situated and has a really cool atmosphere.
