A comfortable double room with built in wardrobe is available in this 3 bedroom townhouse with 2 existing flatmates (1M late 20s and 1F mid 30s). The room and flat are both sunny and warm (haven’t had to use a heater in the bedroom more than a couple of times in the last few years), we have a wfh set up in the living room and nice big windows that open up onto a cute patio area to make the most of the sun. We’re in easy walking distance to both Newtown and the CBD, super close to the supermarket and hospital, and there’s even a coffee cart across the street that does great coffees and delish cheese scones.

The room is on the top floor so gets good sun, comfortably fits a double/queen bed and had a good sized built in wardrobe. You’d share the upstairs modern bathroom (with a bath!) with one flatmate. There’s a tree outside your windows where you can watch piwakawaka and tui flitting about, and is a good gauge for whether or not to take a jacket when you head out for the day.

The existing flatmates are both friendly and relaxed, enjoy cooking, watching movies, and having a good yarn. We keep the house tidy but aren’t too precious about it, and the landlords are pretty chill and responsive if anything needs sorting out.
