Maud's room

Hi flat hunters,

We are looking for a new flatmate in our 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom in our Avondale home! The room is available now, but move-in date can be somewhat flexible for the right person.

About the house:

• Located within walking distance of the Avondale train station (Western line) and bus stops (routes 22R, 22N, 67A, 67B, 191, 195). If you have a car, SH16 and SH20 are nearby and easily accessible.
• Off-street parking is negotiable, but on-street parking is perfectly abundant either in front of the house or on two side roads each less than 1 minute’s walk away.
• Pak’nSave, Oakley Creek, and Unitec are all within walking distance, as are several parks.
• The house is well furnished and has a fully-equipped kitchen as well as a mighty heat pump, washing machine, and dryer.
• Long-term stability is guaranteed because the landlord is a family member of the head tenant.
• We are currently four flatmates (three guys, one girl), full-time working professionals or students from different cultural backgrounds.

About the room:

• Upstairs, sunny and double-sized bedroom
• Built-in wardrobe but no other furniture
• Bathroom shared with two other flatmates
• $200 rent per week (excluding shared expenses)

We are seeking someone:

• 18 up to early 30s: a student, a working professional, someone on a working-holiday visa…. We are flexible!
• VERY clean, tidy, and considerate — fun without being a party animal!
• Looking to move in for the long term ideally, although we may consider a fixed-term stay of at least six months for the right candidate
• Who is not a vaper or smoker and who does not come with pets (unfortunately no couples either, sorry!)
