I’m a doctor working in the UK but about to move to New Zealand for maybe 2-ish years? Obviously just a rough guess though.

At home: I like to cook - I predominantly eat vegetarian (especially at home) but give myself a little wiggle room with the title flexitarian. I clean and tidy after myself. I’ll often be up late, but I’m respectful of my housemates if they’re having an early or just a quiet night. I like morning pilates and bedtime yoga. I enjoy a very occasional smoke, but I always take it outside - I don’t like to live in a space that smells of it.

Spare time: I like to keep busy and my number one love is rock climbing / mountaineering, then everything else outdoorsy - running, wild swimming, camping etc. I prefer to cycle everywhere I can. I love to go out for drinks, live music, an occasional big night out or whatever else is suggested. Keen to take up a new hobby when I move as well.

What I’m after: Just a friendly home environment. I’ve been living with one of my closest friends for 2 years and it’s been a beautiful balance of not stressing about who bought or cleaned what and when. I like a tidy home but I’m not too anal, and happy to compromise by doing a little more or accepting a little less. Preferably I’d like a home with a good amount of light too… Because plants.
