Description

Free for a team up in June / July? We’re organising a free networking event on the 13th June in The Mount for house mate networking. Details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/3105039839684770

Looking for a team up to share a cohousing culture home with 1-3 other mature (30yrs +) working professionals, where we can have a large enough space to host dinners and have the odd wine and BBQs with friends and each other, but also relax, have private quiet spaces, stretch out and not feel on top of each other.

We’ve been working and travelling as a digital nomad in the last year, and Jordan has been living and working on his boat in Tauranga. Now looking to settle down in a home where I (Amanda) can continue working from and Jordan can also stay when not working on the boat.

Amanda works as a remote therapist online so would need a home that’s not a ‘loud music during the day’ house or shared with young children.
Jordan works in special FX, online also, and into health and wellness.

Would be great to live with people who may also be working in similar fields of wellness, and experienced in house sharing. If there’s any practitioners who’d also like to share a therapy/wellness space on the property, that would be welcome. Quite a few nice large homes with studios in the BOP.

Locations we’re looking at are Tauranga, the mount, Te Puna and all the spaces in between.

We’ve shared homes in the past and are very respectful of shared spaces and cleaning duties in the home.

We love dogs, and have a Swedish Vallhund, so if you have any friendly doggos or are open to having pets in the home, great!

At weekends and evenings, we tend to venture out in town for dance class, attend a meetups or go on mini trips. Other weekends, would be re-charging at home watching films with a blanket and pop-corn.

We’d be open to meeting up to chat over coffee to see if we’d be a good potential team up, to move in together, in July.

I found the site to be clear of scams which is very much appreciated since there's so much garbage out there on the web.

Flawless design and user-friendly. I hope people really catch on to this app because it is well put together for people looking for affordable housing.

Roomies is my #1 go to whenever I want to list a room for rent because I always have a better experience with them than any of the other sites out there.
