Kia ora! Everybody! I’m Jorge, Mexican, 29, Born and lived in Mexico until 2 1/2 months ago, when I arrived in Nelson. I lived there renting a room and worked casual jobs as a stevedore and at a bikeshop called Kiwi Journeys.

Been loving Aotearoa so far and luckily I managed to secure a full time permanent job as a bike technician in EVO Cycles’ Taupo showroom so I’m currently looking for a long term living place in Taupo.

Some known facts about me: -I am an extra chill person; far from loud. A nice and kind flatmate and, obviously, I expect this last bit from others too. -Well above average tidy and clean about my spaces. -Fully respectful of others’ personal businesses and spaces. At the same time, I highly value communication and organization around overlapping areas of our lives and shared spaces. -Motivated to put in the work to maintain a clean and good looking, and functioning house. -Rarely goes out at night; doesn’t smoke/vape, doesn’t drink (besides a very occasional pint at the pub). -Owns two bikes, so would appreciate an indoor space for parking them. -Loves tea and a profound conversation. -Likes the calmness of a smaller town as it suits my calm, nature loving and slower pace lifestyle. -An organized, methodic and timely person.
