I’m Tajairi, I just moved to Wellington from L.A where I worked as an academic advisor at UCLA. I have been wanting to visit Aotearoa New Zealand since I finished studying Literature and Climate Change at UCSD and I heard Welllington was walkable, so I figured this would be the perfect place to escape to write my first novel.
During undergrad, I always had roommates (except when Covid sent us all home), and one year I was an R.A, so I’m pretty open-minded and communicative. I love to have a chat with my roommates especially since I don’t know anyone out here haha, but not all the time. I’m an extroverted-introvert so after a few days of socializing I’m locked up in my room watching anime or playing videos games.
As far as cleanliness, I am petrified of pests, so I clean up after myself and appreciate roommates who do the same.
Random fun facts: I flew from L.A to Kentucky last year to see Beyoncé live, Back in L.A, I have two cats, and my favorite anime is One Piece.
