Hey there!

So, let us give you the lowdown on us: Marcel and I hit it off right from the start when we met in Byron Bay back in 2017. Since then, we’ve been on this crazy adventure together, including our time studying in Amsterdam, and now we’re soaking up the beauty of New Zealand!

We’re pretty into our gym routine, you’ll catch us there most days, but don’t worry, we’re not fitness fanatics or anything. Oh, and when it comes to lifestyle choices, we’re all about the clean living—no drinking, no smoking, and we’re both vegetarian (would be a big plus if our roomie is too!).

As for work, I’m Cornelia, and I work in retail while Marcel does his thing as a business consultant for a company back in Amsterdam. I’m more on the quiet side, while Marcel is definitely the social butterfly of the two of us.

What we’re really hoping for in a flatmate is someone who could also be a friend—someone to hang out with and maybe explore a bit of New Zealand together. But hey, we totally get the need for downtime too, so we’re all about respecting each other’s space and having those cozy solo nights in.

Oh, and one more thing—We’re looking to move in around the first of June this year and stay until the end of September, making that roughly 4 months, as our visa is coming to an end. Our ideal flatmate would be respectful, clean, social, and can communicate directly. Also, we’d need a parking spot for our van that we’re planning on selling sooner than later after moving in.
