Jacinta

My name is Jacinta. My family and I own The Rock Bar & Restaurant in Rolleston.

We have hired a new Chef who arrives in NZ on Sunday 31st March so we’re hoping to have a place for him to move into that day.

He is originally from Sri Lanka but has lived and worked in Dubai as well. He is 25 years old and I can say from his references (which is why we employed him) that he is a nice young respectful guy.

He will be working 5-6 days a week, so I’m thinking will be a good housemate to have since he won’t be there too much giving you space. He will generally start work around 10am-12pm and finish around 8-10pm.

Our Head Chef is from Sri Lanka and has had a lot of communication with him leading up to us arranging his visa and employing him. They have mutual friends. So I feel confident he won’t be any issue and am happy to be involved in communicating with him if there were any issues.

He won’t have a car initially, so it will be good to have him close to The Rock to be able to walk to work, although we will loan him a bike too.
