I have worked at Swift Wines (& Custom Crush HB) since January 2026, in a multi-faceted role. I look forward to filling in more about my life in the winery, if you would like to know. Originally from a ‘hospo’ background, I have always loved wine, and am stoked to be working in the industry, learning heaps!

This September, I return to Hawke’s Bay to continue my employment with Swift Wines, after a lovely 6-week visit home to England for my sister’s wedding. I can be somewhat flexible on dates, but would ideally like to find a place on the weekend of September 4th - 6th. I am open to both short-term and long-term agreements.

I am a tidy and considerate flatmate. I always look after my home and am not afraid to get out the vacuum! I’m not the type to leave dirty dishes piled up in the sink.

I like to cook when I have the time, and am not against ‘chipping in’ to communal meals, if that’s how you like to do things. I am a social person, and easy to get along with. I also value my own space, and totally respect when other people want the same.

In March 2023, at 27 years old, I left England hungry for a new chapter and great memories. I enjoyed a year travelling Australia, before enjoying Queenstown’s mountain adventure lifestyle for (almost) a couple of years. Now 30 years old, and loving life in the Bay, I am ready to settle and focus on my career in wine.

I love music. I am big into blues and soul, especially what we call ‘northern soul’. I also love hip hop, and all things rock and roll. Disco is probably my favourite genre of dance music. I am not obnoxious with listening to music; I do not have a speaker system with me. I mostly listen through headphones. I do enjoy chatting all things music.

I follow Manchester United in the English Premier League and keep up to date with most of the goings on in European football.

I love a good film and a good read. My favourite genres are science fiction, and westerns. Two of my favourite authors are Isaac Asimov and Arthur C Clarke. Right now, however, I am finishing The Count of Monte Christo.

Art is a big part of my life. I make surrealist collage and enjoy photography. Visiting galleries is one of my top activities, everywhere I visit in the world.
