Joy Ribeiro

Hi I am Joy, looking for a furnished room or appartment for 6-8 months starting on Dec 25th. I am starting my Master-Thesis in Christchurch in January. I am a clean and tidy housemate and like to keep a quiet and chill atmosphere at home. I am not into parties but wouldn’t say no to making dinner together and chat or watch a movie:) I hope to see as much as possible from the Islands during my stay so I’ll probably be travelling a bit next to my thesis and won’t be home too much. For me, home is a place where I can fully relax and unwind. I am from Luxembourg (Europe) and am doing my Masters in Hydrology in Wageningen, The Netherlands, at the moment. I live here with 3 more roommates, sharing an appartment. So far, I love the experience of living together and hope to find a similar feeling of home for my stay in New Zealand. I am petsitting dogs as a side job (here in the Netherlands), I probably won’t in NZ but I certainly don’t mind if you have some furry friends that I could help out with if you need to!:) Next to my studies I like to go climbing and was already looking for a boulderhall before looking for rooms haha Also, I speak English, German, French and Luxembourgish fluently, if you ever wanted to practice a new language - here is the sign haha Looking formard to hearing from you, If you think I’d make a nice fit for your home!:)
