About Me I am an experienced professional with many years of practice as an architect. I am now the owner and designer of Wakahi.com (https://www.wakahi.com), a global hiking website, and the owner and leader of the Great Walks of New Zealand Meetup Group (https://www.meetup.com/great-walks-of-new-zealand). I am organised, detail-oriented, clean, and respectful of shared spaces. I am a non-smoker and have no pets. I keep an active, outdoor lifestyle — I regularly plan and lead multi-day tramping trips throughout New Zealand — and I value a quiet, well-maintained home as a base between trips.

What I’m looking for

A room in Auckland, within 40 minutes of the CBD by public transport. I rented my current studio in September 2025 after returning from five months of travel, but the sound insulation is very poor and I would like to move. I had originally planned to travel again in June, but have postponed my next trip to the first week of April 2027, so I am looking for a tenancy of approximately 10 months.
