Hi, I’m a new international student from China, starting my Strategic Management degree at the University of Waikato. I have a healthy and active lifestyle — I enjoy hiking, diving, rock climbing, and I’ve solo backpacked to 8 countries. That has made me independent, mature, and easygoing.

I’m looking for a place close to the university, with good natural light and ideally a bit of greenery around (near a park or garden). Since I’ll be arriving with just my suitcase, I’d appreciate a furnished room or at least basic furniture. Including bills in the rent would be a plus, but I’m flexible.

For flatmates, I prefer a clean and quiet environment — keeping shared spaces tidy, low noise at night, and no smoking. Pets are fine with me. Most importantly, I value open communication and am always happy to discuss and compromise on chores, bills, or anything else.
