I’ve recently returned from teaching in China and have spent the past 16 years teaching internationally in a number of different countries.

I own a home in Beachlands, Auckland, which is currently occupied, so I’m looking for somewhere to stay for around eight weeks while I work out my next steps. I may take on another international teaching contract, so I’d ideally like somewhere flexible where I can trial a stay before making any longer-term decisions.

I’m looking for somewhere relaxed and easy-going where I can feel comfortable and at home. I’m respectful, tidy, and pretty much keep to myself, but I also enjoy a good conversation and getting to know people.

I’m open to all suggestions, whether that’s a private studio, a self-contained unit, or a comfortable room in a friendly household. Ideally, I’d be looking around the Manukau area, with a budget of approximately $250 per week.
