A space and overall vibe of the home that sound beautiful.

My name is Fabio, I’m originally from Rio de Janeiro and have lived in Auckland (Titirangi, Totara Valle, Albany, Hibiscus Coast), Northland (Ngunguru, Tutukaka, Karikari Peninsula).

I’m a Physical Oceanographer with a Master’s in Atmospheric Science, and unfinished PhD in Oceanic Engineering. Worked as an Data analyst and Earth Scientist for about 20 years aboard research vessels and institutes. I have been working as a maths and science teacher since 2022 and also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor. I’m also doing postgraduate studies, so I keep a calm and structured routine.

I’m very tidy, respectful, and easy-going, and I really value a peaceful and harmonious home environment. I also enjoy an active lifestyle — surfing, conditioning training, and keeping healthy — but I’m quite low-key at home.

I’m happy to share and contribute to the home, while also respecting people’s personal space and belongings. I’m very comfortable with others having friends over, and I enjoy a friendly, social atmosphere — I’m always open to connecting with new people.

I’m looking for a place to settle long-term, but I’m also open to starting short-term if that works best.
