I am a gentle a Chinese new NZ resident. I don’t mind if there is a shared house, as long as there is a separate room. During my time living in Los Angeles, US ten years ago, I also shared a house with my roommates (including international students and local American workers). We worked together to buy ingredients, cook, and cleaned the kitchen utensils and the common living space, which made us very happy.
