My name is Zsófi (Sophie). I’m a 33-year-old girl from Hungary who’s in New Zealand with a Working Holiday Visa. I’m looking for a private room for rent - preferably with ensuit.

• I love reading, playing computer and board games, watching movies and series.
• I rarely go to parties and discos; I prefer concerts, live music and comedy nights.
• I’m also an omnivore. Sorry, I can’t/won’t live without eating meat. I don’t mind if my flatmates are vegetarians or vegans, but my eating habit might be a problem for some because I will definitely cook/eat meat.
• I don’t smoke, and I don’t really like people smoking inside.

My philosophy: When you live with other people, I think it’s important to respect the other’s privacy and give each other some space so that they can rest and relax in the peace of their room after a hard day. However, it’s also nice to have a little chat with someone, to make them feel that they are not alone. In my opinion, living together is about respecting these boundaries and the other person’s needs. I would like to have flatmates with whom I can have a nice conversation, even watch a movie or have dinner together every now and then, but who also give me privacy when I need it.

Religion, sexual orientation, political views, dietary practices are everyone’s own business. I’m more than happy to have a mature conversation about these topics, but please don’t try to convince me that I should live by your standards and follow your views.
