Hi there! 👋

My name is Emilio, a 20-something guy from Chongqing, China. I’m arriving in Christchurch this June to study English, and plan to go on to study a Bachelor of Nursing at ARA Institute of Canterbury — so I’m here for the long haul!

I’m genuinely excited to immerse myself in Kiwi life — the culture, the people, and yes, absolutely the food scene.

A bit about me: 🏡 Tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and happy to pull my weight with household chores 🗣️ Sociable and love a good chat — over a cup of tea, or better yet, a coffee I’ve made myself (I’ve trained in latte art, so if there’s a machine in the flat, I’d love to show off a little!) 🍳 I enjoy cooking and would love to share some Chinese dishes — and I’m equally keen to learn everyone else’s favourites 📅 Regular schedule, reliable, and always pay on time

I’m specifically looking to live with locals or people from different cultural backgrounds around my age — I want to experience everyday New Zealand life and improve my English through real conversations, not just in the classroom. I want to be a proper part of the household.
