I’m a 30 year old engineer with an active lifestyle. I enjoy going to the gym, playing sports, and exploring the outdoors on hikes. When I’m not keeping busy, you’ll usually find me enjoying a pint, playing pool, or catching up with friends.

I’m clean, respectful, and value a relaxed, drama free home. I always do my part to keep shared spaces tidy and appreciate living with considerate people. If that sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you.

A typical weekday for me is pretty structured. I generally work from around 9am to 5pm, although I have some flexibility and occasionally take my laptop out for a change of scenery or to catch up with friends who work shift patterns. My job mainly involves coding. I sometimes have music on at a respectful volume while I work, or just use headphones if anyone can hear it. Either way, I’m always mindful of keeping noise to a minimum and maintaining a quiet environment. At lunchtime, I usually try to get out of the house, whether that’s to grab something to eat or head to the gym.

I do work late nights on Tuesday’s to liaison with international clients.

Outside of work, I usually go to the gym, play sports, catch up with friends over dinner or the occasional drink, or get out for a walk if the weather’s nice. I like to stay active and explore as much as I can. Since moving to New Zealand six months ago, I’ve really enjoyed getting out and seeing more of the country. I’m keen to do more hikes, weekend trips, and outdoor adventures, and I’ve already got plans to head to the mountains for some snowboarding this August.

I’d definitely describe myself as social. I enjoy having a chat, sharing a meal, or watching a movie from time to time, but I also value my own space and appreciate a calm, relaxed home where everyone is respectful of each other’s routines. I like having a good balance between spending time with housemates and having my own life outside the house, so your household sounds like it would be a great fit.
