Hey! I’m Paul — a freelance colourist originally from the UK, now well settled into Auckland life. I’m self-contained and keep to myself when I’m in the zone. A few days a week I also work as a chef in a cafe in Parnell, these are mornings only so there’s no late nights.

What I’m like as a flatmate

• Quiet and focused during work hours, sociable in the evenings • Respectful of shared spaces — clean kitchen is non-negotiable for me • Not a big party person, but always up for a good dinner (and I can actually cook) • Early riser, so I tend to wind down at a reasonable hour

What I’m looking for

A relaxed, friendly flat where people look out for each other but also respect that sometimes you just need to crack on. Clean and considered is the vibe — I’m not fussy, just decent.
