I’m looking for a room in Invercargill asap.

Moving down for work (12-month contract) early Oct, and looking for a social flat with people in their late 20s–mid 30s. I’m late 20s, outdoorsy (tramping, climbing, yoga, surfing), active lifestyle and pretty down-to-earth. Keen for a house where we get on, but deffo not a party flat — I’ll probably be busy with work, so good, like-minded humans to come home to is the main thing! Be great if we have common interests.

Ideally warm/homey & clean; a veggie garden & compost are big pluses (I’m very happy to maintain both). I am very clean/tidy and responsible, share the load of house tasks, very handy (can fix & build most things), independent (even though I am a bit short I will reach the top shelf myself), have good chat but also like my own space. I like pretty things, make my own yoghurt and bake bread, am a bit obsessed with music and enjoy growing flowers & houseplants. I also love to dance at a gig or salsa. I am pretty well-travelled, enjoy stimulating conversations, and a mix of outdoors/homebody.

Budget flexible for the right place, but ideally under $200/week. I don’t know the area yet, so open on location — probably somewhere central, and bonus points for being near the bouldering wall.
