Hi everyone! I’m Won from South Korea.

​I work in the public sector back home and am coming to New Zealand for a sabbatical year to study and recharge. I am looking for a flat to stay in for a year, from May 2027 to April 2028.

​ What I’m looking for in a home:

​Location: Within a 20-minute walk to Ara Institute of Canterbury. ​ Convenience: Close to supermarkets, gyms/fitness centers, and parks. ​ Pet-Friendly: I had a dog in Korea, so I’d love to live in a pet-friendly home! (Cats and dogs are both more than welcome). ​ Furnishing: Fully furnished, ideally with a comfortable bed, good storage space, and reliable Wi-Fi. ​ Guest Policy: Flexible with occasional visits from my family, boyfriend, or friends for short stays (I am more than happy to pay an extra fee for overnight guests). ​Sunlight: A room with plenty of natural sunlight. ​ Bathroom: Ensuite or private bathroom preferred!

​ About me & preferred flatmates:

​Household: Small household, preferably with female flatmates. ​ Lifestyle: Respectful of personal space and quiet time. I enjoy sticking to a healthy daily routine. ​ Communication: I am currently working on my English, so I really appreciate patient and understanding flatmates! ​ Cooking: I love to cook and will be using the kitchen often. I also enjoy cooking for others, so I’m always happy to share food! ​ Cleanliness: Tidy and responsible. I’d love to have simple ground rules so we can keep shared spaces clean together. ​Vibe: Non-party, quiet, and peaceful. ​ Mindset: Open-minded and comfortable with clear, honest communication whenever needed.
