Hi everyone! My name is Jelle, I’m a 23-year-old guy from the Netherlands, and I am moving to New Zealand in about three weeks on a Working Holiday Visa. I am looking for a nice room in a shared house, or potentially a studio. My budget is very flexible up to $500 per week, depending on the place and whether bills/expenses are included. My plan is to settle down for the next few months, work full-time, and build up a life here. In the Netherlands, I worked as a bookkeeper and I also have plenty of experience in hospitality. I’m planning to look for a full-time job as soon as I arrive, so I will be out of the house during the week. I am a tidy, responsible, and easy going flatmate. I respect everyone’s privacy and always keep my space clean, but I also love to socialize, have a drink together, watch sports, or head out for a surf or hike on days off.
