The available room is a cosy downstairs bedroom that comfortably fits a double bed, with room for bedside tables depending on how you choose to set it up. While the bedroom itself is more compact, it opens directly off the lounge, giving you the benefit of a spacious living area that is predominantly yours, as I rarely use it and my kids are only in there occasionally. It creates a great extension of the room, giving you plenty of extra space to relax, watch TV, or work from home.

You’ll also have use of the downstairs bathroom, which is shared only with me. My two children have their own bathroom upstairs, so you’ll have plenty of privacy and won’t be sharing with them.

The house is fully equipped with everything you need, including unlimited fibre internet, all whiteware, kitchenware, a washing machine, a separate fridge for your groceries, secure garage storage, and off-street parking. There’s also a spacious backyard to enjoy.

Located on New North Road in Mt Albert, you’re within walking distance of buses and close to Mt Albert Train Station, St Lukes Shopping Centre, Unitec, supermarkets, cafés, parks, and gyms, with easy motorway access and a quick commute to the CBD.

This is a clean, well-maintained family home, ideal for someone looking for a peaceful, respectful place to live rather than a busy party flat. You’ll be sharing with me, my two children (who are with me every second week), and our friendly dog.

I’m a full-time working professional who takes pride in keeping the house clean, tidy, and welcoming.

I have two awesome kids (aged 8 and 12) who stay with me on a week-on/week-off basis. They’re respectful, independent, and old enough to clean up after themselves. They have their own space upstairs, so the downstairs area, including the lounge, is generally very quiet and largely yours to enjoy. When they’re with their mum, the house is especially peaceful.

We also have a friendly family dog who’s very much part of the home.
