About the room

Hey everyone! I’m sadly moving out of this awesome flat to start my next chapter, which means my spacious room is up for grabs! We are looking for a reliable, friendly new flatmate to take over my spot starting from Monday 3rd August. Note: While you will be sharing a bathroom with the other guys in the house, we are completely open to both guys and girls applying!

🛌 The Room & Rent Rent: $225 per week. Expenses: Included! (Covers unlimited Wi-Fi, water, and standard power. Note: We split any extra power usage during the winter months, which is minor and we keep it very reasonable). Bond: $450 (2 weeks’ rent). Size: Very spacious bedroom—easily fits a king-size bed with plenty of room to spare. Storage: Features a built-in wardrobe, plus a small access door leading to extra storage space in the roof cavity! Furnishing: The room comes unfurnished.

🏡 The House Layout (3 Levels) This is a massive, highly functional 3-level property where everyone has plenty of their own space: Top Floor (Your Floor): Your room, a male flatmate in his 20s (who has his own room), and a female flatmate in her 50s (who has her own ensuite).

Middle Floor: Main open-plan living/dining area, kitchen, balcony, a shared bathroom, a separate toilet, and another male flatmate in his 20s.

Bonus: A past flatmate just cleared out their lounge furniture, so if you have extra lounge/common area furniture you’d like to bring, you are more than welcome to!

Ground Level: Garage with a washing machine and dryer, a self-contained unit (occupied by a female flatmate in her 50s), and a small backyard with a clothesline.

📍 Location & Parking The Spot: Perfectly positioned right between the Market Road and Greenlane motorway off-ramps, making commuting incredibly easy. Transport: A bus stop is located very close by, and Greenlane Train Station is handy. Convenience: Countdown/Woolworths and McDonald’s are just down the road, plus heaps of other local shops and eateries are within walking distance. Schools: Excellent school zones, close to Epsom Intermediate, Auckland Grammar, and Epsom Girls Grammar School. Parking: Included! You will have your own dedicated car park space outside at the end of a long, very safe driveway.

👥 Flat Culture & Rules We all lead busy lives and value a peaceful, restful home to return to. To keep things running smoothly, we have a couple of simple house rules: Strictly no shoes inside the house. Quiet hours after 10:00 PM to respect those who have work early the next morning. This is a clean, tidy, and respectful household—definitely not a party house, but a warm, relaxed place to call home. Strictly no pets and no smokers.
