About the room

Hi! I have two single rooms available in a 3bdrm home and I’d like to rent both of them to one person or maybe a couple. It would suit you if you need a spare room to use as an office, art studio, gaming room, storage etc.

House is a retro family home with a large garage and basement you could use as a workshop or for projects. There is a home gym setup you can use too. Facilities include dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, heat pump and espresso machine. The property also has a big backyard which I am responsible for maintaining.

About the roomies

I’m 41, male and the other tenant is my lovely old labrador Panda who lives inside. My work is in community based injury rehab with varying hours. I’m a bit of a nerd, into gaming, goto swordfighting club and may have friends over occasionally to play board games. I also like working out, fishing and vege gardening. I’m easygoing, clean and tidy but not too fussy. Happy to try living with someone not my own age or gender, really just need help paying the bills and not looking to make friends or hangout as I like to keep to myself when I’m at home. When I am at home if I am not doing jobs or cooking etc then I will be eating, sleeping or chilling in my room 99% of the time. I almost never use the lounge or sunroom so you would be free to use those whenever and however you want.

Don’t mind if you drink alcohol, smoking tobacco outside is ok, green is ok too. I myself rarely drink, don’t smoke tobacco..

Pets can be considered, cats are all good, my dog grew up with cats and has a healthy level of fear and respect for them. Another dog could be ok as a friend for Panda but not my preference to have another dog but it depends on the dog etc so have to talk about that. Property is not fully fenced.

You would be welcome to have friends over, play music etc, use the garage for projects and generally treat the place as your own as long as you clean up after yourself and respect my space and privacy like I will yours.
