Recently rented 3-bedroom home in Balmoral/Mt Eden, with two rooms available. The house is spacious, comfortable and set up for just three people, so it won’t feel overcrowded.

One room is 3.6m × 2.9m, while the second is a large 4.6m × 4.15m (approx. 19m²) room with its own heat pump. Both rooms are unfurnished, with the option to provide a bed in the larger room. There is also a separate 3.4m × 2.2m study that may be available for exclusive use by arrangement, ideal for working from home or extra storage.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, brand new fridge and washing machine, air fryer, coffee machine and fibre internet. There is a large outdoor deck and grass area, plus a long driveway with off-street parking.

Located on Rocklands Ave, close to Dominion Road and its great range of Asian restaurants and takeaway options. There is easy access to buses into the city and Upper Queen Street.

Power, gas, water and fibre internet are included in the rent, subject to reasonable use. Household basics such as cleaning products, paper towels, coffee and tea will also be provided.

I’m looking for two working professionals around a similar age. The home will be relaxed and social without being a party house. Shared household cleaning, with the option to discuss a cleaner or reduced rent for someone happy to take on additional cleaning and/or gardening.

I’m a guy in my early 30s working in finance and have recently moved into the house. I’ll be living in the master bedroom with its own ensuite.

I’m pretty easy-going and enjoy having a chat, grabbing food or having a drink together, but also value having my own space and a quiet, comfortable home. I’m looking for two flatmates around a similar age who are working professionals, considerate and reasonably tidy.

The idea is to have a friendly and social flat where everyone can do their own thing, but we’re also happy to share a meal, watch something together or head out for a drink now and then. Definitely not looking for a party house.

You’ll be the first flatmates moving in, so there will only be three of us in the house once both rooms are filled.
