The room is upstairs in a modern, newly built two-level townhouse, with a lovely view of Taranaki Maunga. It’s a good-sized room with a large wardrobe, with shelving and there is a king single bed available as shown in the photo.

You’ll have your own bathroom with shower, along with a shared large linen cupboard for some extra storage space.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets and the rest of the home is comfortably furnished. There’s a deck at the front with a beautiful big pōhutukawa tree, where you can often hear the birds. There’s also on-street parking and secure storage for a bike. Currently there is parking off street parking until homes next door are sold.

It’s a really handy spot in central New Plymouth — walking distance to Pukekura Park, the foreshore and CBD. We’re next to a school playground, so outside school hours it’s quiet and peaceful.

$300 per week including power and internet.

You’ll be sharing with me — I’m in my 50s, friendly, easy-going, self-employed in the creative industry as a photographer and artist. I often work from home.

Clean living lifestyle, social, love mountain biking the local trails and foreshore. At home, I enjoy a tidy, peaceful and welcoming environment where we can have a chat and enjoy each other’s company, while also having our own space and doing our own thing.
