Recently renovated, this home is insulated and double glazed with HVac in every room - fully compliant, we are happy to provide the healthy homes certificate. Super warm and dry this relaxing house is a must in a Wellington winter and an amazing place to call home in the summer with all the gorgeous views. There are brand new bathrooms, kitchen and laundry along with numerous storage options. In a convenient location, the bus to town stops right outside, only a ten minute drive to town with supermarkets seven minutes away. We have one off street carpark available and ample free on street parking. The house is semi-furnished in the main living areas (happy for you to add to this) both rooms are unfurnished.
The spacious master bedroom gets amazing afternoon sun and has a beautiful view to the hills out the back. It has a large walk-in wardrobe and a big ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating. We would like a couple for this room at $450 + bills ($35 per person) a week. The room is unfurnished but currently has a queen mattress in it that can be left for tenants to use if needed.
Me: I am a 36 year old working in film in Wellington. I have just moved back from Sydney and settling back into Welly life. I am sociable and friendly and enjoys cooking, netball and catching up with friends. Happy to be a social flatmate, have the odd meal together if that’s the vibe but equally likes independent living.
You: I am looking for friendly, kind, considerate flatmates (late 20’s - early 40’s) who have good senses of humour and chill sensibilities. Happy to host dinner parties and have the odd wine but also love to relax in a calm environment. Ideally, I would like tenants for a relatively long term situation - at least a year and I am open to longer.
