Technically this a spacious room in my Wadestown home, but the deal is you’ll mostly get the whole house to yourself as I’m not there very often. Great option for a couple or someone who wants their own space. Has lovely views of the harbour, a large kitchen and living space, and a generous double bedroom with a wardrobe and plenty of room. The house is semi-furnished, but if you’re missing a bed or some basic furniture, we can chat about what it could include. You’ll need to cover costs, and there is currently no internet subscription but that is easily activated.

The location is great: just a five-minute walk to the 14 bus and another five minutes on the bus into the CBD. Up 45 steps and if you are looking for gentle exercise it’s a 30 min walk to CBD. You get the benefits of being close to the city while enjoying a quieter residential neighbourhood.

Here’s the unusual part: I’m only around for three nights every fortnight during the working week. I don’t usually cook at home, generally turn up to sleep, and leave early, so you probably won’t see much of me at all.

So, while technically you’re sharing a house, in practice it’s much closer to having the place to yourselves most of the time. Have priced it to be affordable also as am thinking of selling the place. Definitely available for 6 months but am really not sure what will happen after that.

On the off chance we cross paths at home… I’m a fairly quite guy with a love of reading, climbing, and yoga. Stereotypical professional office worker!
