Kia ora new flattie! Our newly leased townhouse is hanging out for one more addition to our flat family. We have the last unit in a row of cute cottage-like townhouses, with the biggest garden and a beautiful balcony. Vege garden and lemon tree included!

You will have the choice of two rooms, one roughly 2m by 3m or one 3m by 3.5m with a private entrance to the garden. The lounge kitchen and main bathroom are upstairs (have I mentioned the skylight in the lounge yet?!) And it’s so sunny and cosy and not at all like a typical drafty damp wellington house! There is even a garage which we will be turning into an art studio/workshop!

Photos are from previous tennants, we will be moving in on the 26th. Expenses will be split depending on what they add up to. This place is close to Everything! Right next to the recreation center and a quick walk to PaknSave, Countdown and town! We can provide a bed and all the furnishings and whiteware are there and waiting for you.

There are two existing flatmates, we are a couple around 30. We’re not partiers, but we are very social, moatly outside the home. We enjoy a lot of the arts between us, music, art, etc. We are a Software Engineer and a LanguageTeacher who love to get out and travel or stay in and create. We are mostly vegan .. we can discuss the appropriate term if you want but we are cool with meat eaters as long as we all respect each other. I am allergic to fish though so … If you eat fish all the time this is not the place for you!

We are looking for someone quiet and sociable, not a huge drinker, LGBT friendly and self aware. We are wanting to make a home for ourselves and one other, so someone who wants to create a home with us is optimal. We would like to sublet, although if you are keen on staying more permanently and are a good fit we’ll put you on the lease. That’s all negotiable :) so is the rent! Depending on the room you want.
