Double room - comes with queen bed. Unfortunately does not have a wardrobe but does have an existing hanging rack for clothes - think minimalist vibes! Expenses are not included in rent but average out to be about $20-$30 per week. This is a 4 bedroom house located in a quiet cul-de-sac, with a family/home type feel to it. It has an open kitchen, a big study/office area and a cute outdoor area perfect for the summer! The existing flatmates are close and do like to spend time together in the common areas, as this truly is our home. This is however by no means a party house (we do like to party occasionally but we do this outside of the house). There is off street and on street parking available. The house is super close to both Birkenhead and Northcote villages, and right on the major bus routes into the city and Takapuna.

About us: We’re looking for a person to join this flat family! We don’t expect you to become our best friend (although you can be in you want!), but we do want someone who is willing to be sociable if we’re all out in the lounge. Current flatmates are two girls age 25 and 29, and one fluffy cat called Bear. There is a family vibe and we consider this to be a home. We are both young professionals, working in Birkenhead and the CBD, approximately 9-5 type routines. About you:

• Preferably a working professional between the ages of 22-30, but open to hard working students
• Non-smoker
• Clean & tidy
• Pays bills on time
• You have a positive attitude, and are happy to have a wine/yarn after work but also love to do your own thing.
• You like cats, but don’t have an animal of your own (unfortunately we’re only allowed 1 pet)
