Nadia's room

This is for a short term bases until April 2024 as we will be renovating the house.

Rent is $280 plus electricity costs.

Room is furnished. (bed, drawers, mirror, linen and heater).

Beautiful, three-bedroom 1890’s house fully insulated (underfloor, ceiling and walls). Small back garden, with a deck that gets sun in summer. Lovely quiet street. Just off Tinakori Road, 10 minutes walk to Parliament, train station and Lampton Quay business district and shops.

House has the following

• shared bathroom
• shared kitchen
• Heat pump and a fireplace
• Basic kitchen - with dishwasher
• Washing machine and dryer

No parking on the property, but you will be eligible for residents streets parking for ($51 for three months, or $195 for the year). We have a shed that could fit another bike.

Room is quiet behind the house away from the street, although not the biggest it has enough space for a queen bed and a desk or drawers. And has excellent built in storage.

We are in our early 40’s. And work a mix of part-time and self employed contracts in the arts and music, so work odd hours.

We sometimes work nights or go out to shows, so tend to get on better living with people who don’t wake up super early.

We do like having flatmates who like to chat or socialise sometimes.

Would be open to considering someone with a pet on a case-by-case basis.

We are quite tidy/clean. And like to live with someone who would be happy to pitch in on the odd weekly cleaning tasks.
