Approx. 20 minute walk to Kelburn campus. 1 min walk to a covered bus stop. Convenient for #2, #13, #34 and #33 buses. Plenty of Jump/Flamingo scooters in the area if that’s your jam, too. Two heatpumps, one dryer, one dishwasher, one bathtub, one BBQ and one hour of free power a day. Huge living area, large galley-style kitchen with lots of storage, a BBQ and French doors onto a private outdoor patio. My indoor and outdoor plants have thrived here. The flat is managed by a company so you have someone on call for maintenance etc. The shared spaces are furnished between the flatmates (perks include a TV, two couches and a Nespresso machine), you just need to bring furniture for your room. Approx. 5 minutes’ walk to the Tinakori shops, approx. 10 minutes’ walk to the Northland shops (looking at you, three pizza stores) and approx. 15 minutes’ walk to Kelburn village. Not pet-friendly (but the flat is visited by the neighbours’ cats on occasion). There is a beautiful view out over the Botanical Gardens. We regularly hear a chorus of birdsong, particularly tui, kaka, the whooshing of kereru, and ruru (in the late hours).
