CLEAN, FURNISHED ROOM TO RENT (SHARED BATHROOM)

Looking for a furnished bedroom to rent in a clean and tidy modern home? This may be the ideal place. We are looking for a non-smoker who is clean, neat, and organised. Parties are not allowed. Pets are not allowed, we have our own.

We are situated in Grenada Village, Wellington, an 8-minute walk to the bus stop (bus route number 1). The nearest supermarket is at Churton Park (New World) and Johnsonville (Countdown) both are just a 5-min drive from home. So is the nearest medical center, hair salon, etc.

The bedroom has a built-in wardrobe and is furnished with a queen bed, mattress and protector, mattress topper, electric blanket, and pillows x 2. Bedding is provided - a fitted sheet, flat sheet, blanket, comforter, pillow protector, and pillow cases. The house is centrally heated and zoned. A bladeless fan is available for summer. Furniture in the room includes the queen bed, bedside cabinets, a chest of drawers, and a wall mirror. There are night lamps in the room. You have access to a clean bathroom, kitchen, family room, and laundry. Plenty of on-street parking is available. The area is very safe and the house is a new build. Roads are wide.

You can use our kitchen for cooking. You have a shelf in our pantry to store your food, and a shelf in our fridge and freezer.

The weekly charge is $300 and this includes a furnished bedroom, electricity, fibre broadband, hot water, use of the washing machine, refrigerator, stove, and microwave. The house has no landline phone. The house is centrally heated and zoned, and we turn on the heating only when needed. The bed has an electric blanket. Our windows are double-glazed with black-out roman blinds, and our home is quite warm. We do not have a SKY connection or a TV in the room. It’s a house that gets ample sunshine throughout the day!

If interested, you will need to sign a tenancy agreement. You will pay 2 weeks’ rent in advance. 14 days notice is required to terminate the tenancy agreement from either party, landlord, or tenant.

NOTE: The room is available for a young couple but please email for information regarding the rent.

We are 4 people in the family. I work from home. We have 2 sons, 20 and 18. We also have a non-shedding dog (breed - malshi), and a cat. We are a quiet, peace-loving family.
