Joel's room

The room is 2.5m x 3.4m. Built-in wardrobe. Unfurnished. Faces east so morning sun.

Relatively small house but has a large lounge, one small bathroom but has separate second toilet off the laundry, off street parking for one car, veggie garden, starting to plant fruit trees, big garden shed, BBQ. The house is next door to a little park.

5min drive to the South Western motorway. 5 min drive to Papatoetoe shops. 10min drive to Middlemore Hospital. 10min drive to Airport. Pets negotiable 🐈 (hypoallergic dogs okay).

Move in date flexible (after 30 September). Rent $185 per week. Bills would be around $100 - $110 per month for power, water and internet. We just split them as they come in. Flick us a message to tell us a bit more about yourself if you’re interested.

We’re a queer couple (30 non-binary & 29 cis female) 🌈. If you don’t know what this means, you might want to google it :) Both working full time Monday to Friday. We’re pretty chill and like a relaxed/no drama home life. We enjoy a yarn, binge watching tv shows together, cooking, hiking, projects/making things. Not really party people but like to socialise and have dinners with friends, BBQs when it’s good weather. Can include you in activities or let you do your own thing :) we have a good friend moving into the spare room mid September too.

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, respectful, clean and tidy, and pays bills on time. It’s really important to feel comfortable at home (for us and you) so looking for LGBT+ friendly/open-minded people. You don’t have to be queer yourself though :)
