Kirstie's room

I am moving overseas so we have a lovely bedroom available in our Kingsland/Morningside flat available in early November (flexibility for an earlier move in date if required). Rent is $250 per week (+ bills).

The room has high ceilings, beautiful hard wood floors and shutter blinds. There is no in-built wardrobe but the free-standing wardrobe in the pictures will be left behind for the next tenant free of charge and has two full length mirrors built into the sliding doors. Central heating ducts in the central living areas and hall ways are on automatic timers and keep the room (and the whole house) nice and toasty in winter.

The flat has tons of space - we have a large kitchen and two large living areas, which open up onto a deck and garden. The place has lots of character - a fireplace, stained glass windows, and hardwood floors. There is also off-road parking for about 5 cars, secure behind a fence and automated gate, and under house storage. Lawns and gardens are taken care of by our landlords, who are great. House is fully stocked - washer/dryer, Nespresso machine, two fridges, AirFryer etc.

We’re well-connected to Kingsland (about a 5 minute walk), Morningside (under 5 minute walk), and all the great bars and cafes they have to offer. The motorway is close by, and you have the choice of frequent buses or the train to head into the city (stops are about 2 minutes away). St Lukes mall is also about 1.5 km away.

You would be sharing the flat with two girls in their late 20s, one male in his late 20’s and Remy, our rescue cat. We all work full-time, but enjoy getting together after work or on the weekends to binge a Netflix series, play board games, do some karaoke and/or have a drink (or two).

We are ideally looking for someone similar age range and who also works full time. No students and no couples please. No pets - our little cat prefers to be the boss of the house!
