We have a room- 2 actually if you want to live with a friend, but this post just contains photos of one of them- available for rent in this super central Dixon street apartment. Close to literally everything you could need. Transport costs go out the window. 2 different supermarkets close by in different directions, and oriental bay is just a 20 minute walk away, which I utilised the hell out of in the summer. Bus stops a 2 minute walk away, or not even that. A dairy and a subway just downstairs. The room will come mostly unfurnished, and is reasonably small but easily fits a bed, clothing rack, draws, a desk, and all the random clutter I possess with no issues. It will come with the desk. Previously had a queen sized bed in it and still fit all these things with no issues. It has a cool window sill type thing that goes all the way around, which I essentially use as a shelf. Super helpful space wise. Really warm, well insulated flat, essentially no need for any extra heating. 4 bedroom flat with open plan kitchen and living area. $242.50 a week, bond is $950. Mixed gender flatmates are currently all in their 20s but not picky about age. Everyone is keen for a good chat occasionally if you’re interested and it’s only slightly uncommon to see everyone chilling together occasionally, but mostly everyone keep to themselves and in their rooms.
